Does Shopify Plus B2B replace our need for a separate wholesale platform?

For most brands, yes Shopify Plus now handles company accounts, customer-specific pricing, net payment terms, purchase order workflows, and multi-location buyers natively. Where native features fall short for your specific model, we build the gap with custom Shopify Functions or a private app. Most clients end up consolidating DTC and wholesale onto a single Shopify Plus instance, which reduces operational overhead significantly.

Can we run DTC and B2B from the same Shopify Plus store?

Yes this is one of Shopify Plus's strongest capabilities and one of the most common architectures we implement. Buyers see a personalized, account-specific experience with their pricing and terms, while your DTC storefront runs unchanged on the same platform. Inventory, orders, and product data are unified across both channels.

How do you handle complex pricing volume tiers, account-specific rates, contracted pricing?

Through Shopify's native price lists for customer-specific and volume-based pricing, extended with custom Shopify Functions where your logic exceeds what price lists can handle for example, negotiated line-item discounts, conditional free shipping thresholds, or contract-based pricing with expiry logic. We've built pricing engines for brands managing hundreds of wholesale accounts with distinct rate structures.

Can you integrate Shopify Plus B2B with our ERP?

Yes ERP integration is almost always part of a B2B engagement. We build bidirectional connectors for NetSuite, SAP, and custom ERPs, syncing product data, inventory, orders, customer accounts, and pricing. We use Gadget for complex integration logic where appropriate, and build direct API connectors where a lighter solution fits. All integrations are built to Shopify's API versioning standards so they don't break on platform updates.

What about sales reps placing orders on behalf of accounts?

With our Native custom tooling, yes. SeedCMS supports sales rep order management reps can log in, switch between assigned company accounts, and place or manage orders on their behalf. Where your rep workflow requires additional logic custom approval flows, draft order management, or CRM integration we build that on top of the native foundation.

We're currently on Magento or a custom wholesale platform. Can you migrate us?
