CRO Services

Experiments that win, instrumented from day one.

For Shopify Plus brands investing in traffic, small gains in conversion rate translate directly to significant revenue growth. We start with a full-funnel audit analyzing your analytics, session recordings, heatmaps, and checkout data to surface the friction costing you conversions. From there, we build a prioritized roadmap and run structured A/B and multivariate tests to validate improvements before they go permanent. Everything we do is measured, documented, and designed to compound.

The work

Most CRO programs are theater. Ours ships winners.

Half of all A/B tests don't reach significance. A third produce false positives. Most agencies celebrate movement on whatever metric trended this week.

Seedcms runs CRO as an engineering discipline: pre-registered hypotheses, sample-size math up front, Bayesian decision rules, and instrumentation that survives the test going to 100%.

We work in two-week sprints, ship 4–8 tests a month, and report against the metric you actually care about revenue per session, not click-through on a banner.

What's included.

What a Conversion Rate Optimization engagement covers the scope, the deliverables, and the operational reality of shipping each piece.

01

Test design + development

Hypotheses tied to a business metric, built and shipped to production. PDP, cart, checkout, navigation, on-site search wherever the traffic concentrates.

  • Pre-registered hypotheses
  • Sample-size math up front
  • Bayesian + frequentist analysis
  • Winners shipped to 100%
02

Instrumentation

Server-side and client-side event tracking that survives ad-blockers and SPAs. GA4, Heap, Amplitude, your warehouse pick your stack, we'll wire it.

  • GA4 + server-side GTM
  • Elevar / Stape pipeline
  • Custom warehouse events
  • Funnel + cohort dashboards
03

Merchandising optimization

Ranking, search, recommendations, and collection logic tuned to behavior. Plus the operational program to keep it tuned as the catalog evolves.

  • Search + ranking config
  • Recommendation engines
  • Collection & PLP logic
  • Quarterly tuning reviews

Our approach.

How we run a Conversion Rate Optimization engagement. Sequenced so each phase de-risks the next.

Step 01

Audit

Funnel diagnostic, instrumentation review, friction inventory. We map every step from impression to repeat purchase and surface the leak points worth testing.

Step 02

Hypothesize

Pre-registered test backlog ranked by ICE (impact / confidence / effort). Each hypothesis ties to a business metric and a sample-size estimate before we touch code.

Step 03

Build

Test variants built by senior engineers production-quality code, not Shoplift drag-and-drop. Performance budgets enforced. Accessibility holds.

Step 04

Test

Live in production with proper randomization, segment guardrails, and SRM monitoring. We watch for early-stopping bias and never call a winner inside a peri-launch window.

Step 05

Analyze

Bayesian and frequentist read-out. Effect size, credible interval, segmented impact. Honest about null results they teach us more than wins.

Step 06

Ship

Winners promoted to 100%, losers killed, instrumentation kept. Quarterly meta-analysis to find compounding patterns across the program.

Honest answers.

The questions we get about Conversion Rate Optimization before brands sign. If yours isn't here, ask us directly.

How long until we see results?

First test live in week two. First decisive result (winner shipped or hypothesis killed) usually inside the first month. Compounding revenue impact builds from there most retainers are paying for themselves in revenue lift by month three.

We're transparent up front: if your traffic doesn't support meaningful tests at sub-4-week cadence, we'll tell you that in the audit and recommend a different engagement model.

Can you work with our existing analytics stack?

Yes. We're stack-agnostic on the analytics layer GA4, Heap, Amplitude, Mixpanel, your warehouse, whatever you've standardized on. We instrument tests so the events land cleanly in your existing dashboards.

If your instrumentation is the problem (it often is), we'll fix that as part of the engagement.

How do you handle mobile vs desktop?

Always segmented in analysis, often segmented in test design. Mobile behavior is different enough that what wins on desktop frequently doesn't win on mobile, and vice versa. We protect against that with separate samples and Bayesian decision rules per segment.

Big strategic bets or small tactical tweaks?

Both, sequenced. We start with high-confidence quick wins to build velocity and trust. Once the cadence is established, we run the bigger architectural bets checkout overhauls, PLP redesigns, search reranking with the test discipline already in place.

Do you guarantee results?

No, and you should be suspicious of agencies that do. We guarantee cadence (4–8 tests a month), rigor (pre-registration, proper stats), and transparency (every test reported, including the losses).

Across our active retainers the program-level ROI is between 4x and 11x. But guaranteeing a specific lift on a specific test is selling fiction.

How does this integrate with our brand and product teams?

Tightly. We don't ship a test without brand approval on creative, and we don't pick a hypothesis without product alignment on the metric. Most CRO failures we see are organizational, not statistical we work to prevent that.
